In-depth analyses in certain areas

Those who are interested in knowing more about a certain topic may want to read some of the annual reports published by the SOM Institute. The reports present results mainly in table form, yet some also contain analyses and explanations.

In particular, the reports provide special analyses of certain topics. They allow the reader to dig deeper into anything from Swedes' faith in the Swedish Public Employment Service and the judicial system to their cultural habits and lifestyles.

Every year, the Institute publishes reports on how Swedes feel about for example certain energy or EU issues. It also presents national trends concerning opinions and mass media, and particular trends observed in Western Sweden. All analyses that are part of externally funded research projects are published as reports that can be purchased in paper form or downloaded as PDFs.

Our reports in English are listed below. Click here for a complete list of all reports plus information on how to download them. Please note that the majority of the reports are only available in Swedish.
